WHAT?!

If you are old enough to be my father, you should *not* be looking at my profile. And by old enough to be my father, I mean comfortably old enough to be my father, none of this "I could have been the loser boyfriend on 16 and Pregnant." For real, people. For stinkin' real.

Please note that the only exception to this is John Corbett. John Corbett could absolutely look at my profile.

I did get a smiley back overnight, though. From a guy who is divorced. Sorry. I'm totally new to this game, and young, and about as inexperienced as they come, and while I am not looking for the same, I'm not up for dating someone who is divorced and has a kid. It's nothing against him, it's just more I know what I can handle and what I can't, and that is just in the "can't" category.

  2. I agree with you on that decision. You don't want to jump into dating someone if you aren't in the same place. And someone that has a child probably isn't in the same place you are.

  3. I've known a few people who had similar experiences, some with guys that were like 60+ hitting on 20-year-olds. Get a grip, dudes. Seriously.

  4. I used to get all sorts of 50 and 60 yr old men telling me that I was clearly the woman of their dreams and I should date them because they can take care of me.

I would write back telling them 'Thanks, but I already have a father... best of luck in your searches for a new daughter!'

    Yes... I was that mean.
